Klaus Röder von carpe diem yachdesign in Tutzing hatte die Aufgabe einen klassischen Yachtaufbau - ähnlich wie bei einer Hansa Jolle - auf die Rumpfbasis einer J22 zu konstruieren.

Weiterhin sollte der Rumpf einen Schwenkkiel bekommen damit später eine minnimale Wassertiefe von 50 cm befahren werden kann.

Das Schiff ist für ein Jollenrevier (Steinhuder Meer) konstruiert, soll jedoch bei einem Kielgewicht von etwa 350 Kg ähnlich wie die J22 auch im küstennahen Bereich segelbar sein.

Klaus Röder from carpe diem yachtdesign have good experience in boat design and constructing. He knows very well about new materials and technologies and is able to combine this with classical boat building technologies.

He had the task to take a hull of a J22 and design a classical deck and cabin. The hull should get a swing keel to realize a minimum water depth of 50 cm.

The 350 Kg of the keel should be good also for the near coast sailing. The CE class of the boat should reach class "C".
